Annual Medical Mission of 2021

Happy New Year and  Happy Feast of the Baptism of the Lord.

Our annual Medical Mission took place on January 2nd 2021. We got some sponsors who were generous to support our Medical Mission, 2021. About 300 people received medical treatment. About 170 people received eye examination and eye glasses. We gave about 40 walking sticks to the early people. We served food and water to those who helped. About 8 doctors, 17 nurses, and other workers/ volunteers helped.

On January 4th, we hosted a day of gathering for the scholarship recipients. They were served with food and soft drinks. A quiz was organized and prizes were given to the best students. The Ahiara Diocesan Newspaper -The Guide covered the two events. The news of what was done will be published next weekend.

2020 Local Community Christmas Outreach

This Christmas was very different and challenging for many families. Due to the Covid Pandemic, their circumstances changed and many families were struggling. Some lost their jobs, and struggled to pay their rent or mortgage. Some experienced unexpected health issues and perhaps even lost theirhealth insurance and had limited resources.

The BertoEdAngeli Foundation was able to collect $1410 to purchase gift certificates, toys, and essentials for a some local families in the community.

Here are a few images.
